Colloquially referred to as "Foof Guns", an IPTS is a pistol-styled weapon designed to return targeted non-native outsiders to their plane of origin and then applies a delayed reaction extended dimensional anchor round to reduce recidivism. Its nickname derives from the audible report of the firing mechanism. While marketed in both civilian and military models, the IPTS has been most commonly adopted by civilian bodyguards first and foremost. As may be expected, an IPTS will not function within the Phlogiston. The weapon has no effect on native outsiders, nor on non-outsider creatures. Depending on the citizenship status of the outsider affected, legal ramifications may apply.
